You're looking at the brains of this operation. I'm the webmaster, graphic designer, photographer, publicist, treasurer, receptionist, cheerleader, chief cook, bottle washer, juggler, mime and animal trainer.
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. In fact, I'm a fifth-generation Seattleite. So when Chris informed me that we were moving to Arizona in October of 2007, I about flipped. What I knew about Arizona could have been written on the tip of Chris's nose: Hot, no water, rattlesnakes, cow skulls. Not a good thing. But being the supportive, dutiful wife than I am, I packed all the boxes, rented the U-Haul, and planned the whole move...after I threw a wee tantrum, of course.
In a previous life, I was a singer and actress. I've recorded numerous original songs, had airplay on the radio, been on stage in lead roles, worked in a recording studio as a jingle composer, arranged sacred choral pieces and done a whole lot of other stuff, including making websites and owning small businesses.
I bake a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies. I type 90 words per minute. I'm an obsessive-compulsive proofreader. I adore Chihuahuas. My favorite colors can be found in the sky at twilight. I take great photos through the car window while Chris is driving 65 miles per hour or more. And daffodils make me smile.
